Monday, June 27--Cranberry Glades & Greenbrier State Forest

We drive throught the "Rainbow Family Gathering" on the way to the Cranberry Glades. Note that the visitor center was command headquarters for the Forest Service.

"Lunch on a Log". Note that Olivia's trademark socks fit right in with the "rainbow" theme.

In the cranberry glades, Josh and the front of the group got to see a mama bear and three cubs.

Insectivorous plants: on the left are pitcher plants (it's difficult to see the pitchers at the base of the flowers), and on the right are sundews.
