Greenbrier State Forest

On the trail to our forestry study sites.

First we set up a 50-m long transect.

Then we establish 5x5 m study plots along the transect.

Measuring the dbh of a tree.

This scat was prominently displayed on the trail. Coyote? Raccoon?

This was part of a large clump of poison ivy showing both flowers and berries.

After supper, we had our talent show, followed by night journaling.
