Its difficult to take pictures in the deep shade of Laurel Fork. But shade is good for living creatures on a hot summer day!
Searching for salamanders.
They might hide under a rock.
The object of our search -- a small salamander.
The data doesn't exist if it doesn't get recorded!
This might look like a pile of bear poop, but it's really a rattlesnake -- just
leave him alone!
