Backpacking trip to Laurel Fork in Highland County

Our first stop was the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank, West Virginia

This is "Star Lab" an inflatable planetarium.

Next stop: the Locust Spring picnic area in Laurel Fork.

After lunch, we took a "Wilderness Survival" quiz. First alone, then in our research groups.

Backpacks are ready for the trip down the mountain.

Ready to go!

In camp -- Home Sweet Home for the next two days.
