Salamanders of Note


While the Mountain Dusky was our most common salamander, this small one is an unusual red-orange color.


The "beefy" seal salamander.


The spring salamander is completely aquatic, and it's difficult to get a photo through a plastic bag. Note the gills at the arrows.
