Coliform Tests

Testing of local waters with 3M E. Coli "Petrifilm" plates.

  Jackson River at DSLCC:
 1 E. Coli
 1 other coliform
 1 non-coliform

Toilet bowl sample. Numerous colonies, but surprisingly no coliforms.

Runoff from cat feces contains numerous E. Coli and other bacteria.
