Times change. Kids (and trees) grow up. The gate sags - and so does my skin. The "new dog" is 12 years old and showing his dog years. [September 2022 update: Dakota is no longer with us.]

This website started in the mid-1990s with hand-crafted HTML. I've been through numerous web design apps (remember PageMill? Dreamweaver?), but with everything now cloud-based, my tiny pipe to the internet has me back to hand-coding basic pages. (Living in a National Forest has its joys; high-speed internet isn't among them.) [October 2021 update: Broadband has come to all of Alleghany County! Amazing!] ISPs have stopped web-hosting, so "home.cfw.com/~rollinso" has become "srollinson.net".

It's time for a refresh - and for some long-overdue house cleaning.
